Cindy and I had the opportunity to serve as staff on a high school/junior high church trip. Compass Bible Church in Dana Point took 400 kids to lake Havasu for fun, sun and water sports. Definitely hard work but it was fun watching kids learn to wake- board, get thrown off of inner tubes, play camp games in 110 degree weather, knee board, wake-skate and a ton of other activities.
But one of the greatest joys was watching youth delve deeper into their relationship to Jesus Christ and the Word of God. This is what camp is truly about.
